Our Story
More Than 60 Years of Serving Cloudcroft Families
Scotty’s Propane started in 1962 as a small family operation in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The founder believed in a simple idea: treat people fairly, show up when you say you will, and do what’s right even when no one’s watching. More than six decades later, we’re still family-owned, still locally operated, and still guided by those same principles. We deliver within a 35-mile radius of Cloudcroft, but our values haven’t changed. Today, we employ certified drivers and technicians who live in the community they serve. They understand New Mexico winters, they know the back roads, and they take pride in keeping their neighbors warm and safe.

Scotty’s Propane has proudly served the Cloudcroft, NM area with propane services for over 60 years. The company offers propane delivery, an on-site cylinder fill station, a budget pay plan, and wireless tank monitors, along with installation, maintenance, and repair of propane delivery systems—from the storage tank all the way to your home or business’s entry point—as well as most propane appliances within your home or business. Scotty’s Propane is an active member of the Rails to Trails Conservancy.
The business is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and closed on weekends. For emergencies, customers can call the local Cloudcroft office at (575) 682-2321; after-hours callers are asked to leave a message for a callback. Scotty’s Propane accepts American Express, cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa, along with auto pay and ACH payment options, and serves English-speaking customers.
